There's
never been a more innovative product than Label-Form combinations. By
combining labels and forms into one document, the label is generated as
a by-product of the form, thereby eliminating a separate printing function
for the labels. It is more efficient, and more accurate than preparing
labels and forms separately.
The
application for Label-Form combinations are limitless. Virtually every
industry has discovered the benefits of combining labels and forms into
one document. To determine if your customer has an application for a Label-Form
combination, find out if they often need to duplicate or transfer information
from a document to another medium. (For example, a file folder, carton
label, envelope, or another form.) If so, they will benefit from the increased
efficiency and accuracy of a Label-Form combination.
Brandt
Affixing Inc. supplies two types of Label-Form combinations: Piggyback
Labels (also called "blown on") and Integrated Labels. Piggyback
labels are typically produced on a flexo label press in rolls, and then
applied to the face of a form. The term "piggyback" refers to
the dual ply construction of this label material. An adhesive label and
an adhesive liner are applied to the form. After the form and label are
printed, the top ply (adhesive label) is removed, leaving behind the adhesive
liner. Integrated labels are not affixed TO the form, they are a PART
OF the form. The label "image" is printed on the front of the
form. A very thin adhesive liner is applied to the back of the form, and
the front of the form is die-cut to create the label. To find out more

labels, click on the "Integrated vs. Piggyback" button above.
